Science-led nature, landscape & deep time

Let's find uncommon ground.

Grounding the body and engaging the mind through the landscapes we actually live in. Curiosity, connection, community: built on solid ground.

My mission

My mission is to help curious humans feel more at home on Earth. As a geologist and nature lover, I lead guided walks, grounded meditation, hands-on workshops, talks and retreats across North Wales and Cheshire. Each one blends science, deep time and a little wonder, to slow you down and reconnect you with the land, with yourself and with other people. Wellness without the woo woo.

Who I am

Hello, I'm Libby. I am Uncommon Ground.

I spend my time reading landscapes: the rock underfoot, the water that shaped it, the woods that grew on top, and the people who walk through it without ever looking down.

Uncommon Ground is where I bring that together. Walks, talks and events that treat curiosity as a wellbeing practice, and the last few hundred million years as the best context we have for the next few.
